Grooming

Every dog and cat can benefit from regular visits to a good groomer. Good grooming promotes good health in the pet and can also make for happier owners. Libby is the chief groomer in the Kennel. She received her qualification in Montreal in the mid 1980's and has worked in salons in that city and in the Ottawa area since that time. (Tomac the Poodle shown with Lib)

Libby offers the "fancy" grooming associated some specific breeds (such as the poodle) but the Kennel also does the routine grooming. The specific services are as shown below:

Bath and Brush, which includes

• Shampoo
• Blow dry
• Brushing
• Ear Cleaning
• Nail Trimming
• Anal glands and sanitary trim (if required)

Full Service Grooms (all of the above, and)

• Hair clipping (all styles)
• Shaving (if required)
• De-matting (if required)
• Flea and tick treatment (if required)
